Interpellé le mardi 29 janvier 2024 après des accusations gravement mensongères d’une prétendue tentative de viol qu’il conteste fermement, Monsieur Benoît KOUNKOUD est sorti libre de la mesure de garde-à-vue, et sans aucune obligation. Il a en effet pu faire entendre sa version des faits d’une soirée sans violence quelle qu’elle soit, à l’opposé des dénonciations calomnieuses dont il a été injustement l’objet et sans qu’aucun élément objectif du dossier – auditions de témoins et visionnage des vidéos – ne soit venu infirmer ses déclarations.
Comme tout citoyen injustement mis en cause, Monsieur Benoît KOUNKOUD bénéficie de la présomption d’innocence et n’hésitera pas à la faire respecter, si nécessaire, par toute procédure judiciaire.

Mr. Benoît KOUNKOUD was arrested on Tuesday, 29th of January 2024, following severely false accusations of an alleged attempted rape, which he firmly denies. He was released from police custody free of any obligation. In fact, he was able to make himself heard on his version of the facts of an evening lacking any form of violence, in contrast to the slanderous denunciations of which he was unjustly the object, and did so without any contradiction between the objective elements in the case file – witness hearings and video viewings – and his own statements.
Like any unjustly accused citizen, Mr Benoît KOUNKOUD benefits from the presumption of innocence and will not hesitate to ensure that it is duly respected, if necessary, by using all legal means.
He trustfully remains at the disposal of the judicial authorities while the investigation continues.
