Sophie Obadia

Our partner practises criminal law (magistrates’ courts, criminal courts and assize courts). She defends individuals and corporate entities, victims and perpetrators at all stages of the proceedings (police custody, preliminary investigation, investigation, trial). She’s used to media attention and judicial crisis. Sophie Obadia works closely with crisis communicators and journalists. 

It has recognized expertise in defamation, invasion of privacy and other press offenses.

Sophie Obadia is also involved in post-metoo cases of vice. She defends artists and public figures accused of sexual violence. Her expertise also extends to corporate executives accused of sexual and/or moral harassment.

She is also renowned for her work on extradition cases and European arrest warrant litigation. Sophie Obadia has acted for North and South American nationals sought by France in cases of international fraud and money laundering.
